Welcome to Liwo Design – a South African based jewellery design and manufacturing company founded by Lisa Hugo

Liwo Design began in 2016, when owner Lisa decided to share her love of making beautiful jewels with the world. Lisa obtained her BA Visual Arts (Creative Jewellery design and Metal techniques) degree in 2011, after which she worked in Jewellery retail and manufacturing from 2011 till early 2016 to improve her jewellery skills. Now she uses her love of nature and design to create unique, handmade jewellery.

Each Liwo Design piece of jewellery is imagined, designed and handmade in our studio in Franschhoek. Sterling Silver, Copper, Brass and Natural gemstones are used in manufacturing Liwo Design Jewellery - And as each item is handmade we embrace the imperfections made by the human hand which gives each and every Liwo Design piece their own uniqueness!
